Grigoriy Zekhtser
"Grigoriy escaped from the Soviet regime and came to the United States at the end of the 20th century seeking asylum. His love, passion, and inspiration for art stem from his daughter's paintings. His art exhibits abstract themes using vibrant colors. Specialized paint techniques include resin and acrylic. "

Olga Kaydash was born in 1970 in Kazakhstan. Since young age, Olga's parents insisted on her being involved in sports, so she mastered ice skating, basketball, volleyball, taekwondo. Between school, music school, and sports, the only time, when Olga could explore her secret love for the arts, was during summer break, when she would stay at her grandmother's, buried in books that taught her how to draw. Her summers were also spent taking care of various animals, who she would bring home and nurture. This is how her two passions, art and animals, collided for the first time. Adult life had its own plan for Olga. She graduated from a University with a degree in finance, got married and immigrated with her family to the United States. Her career here continued in the world of numbers. She started as a bank teller and grew to manage an accounting department of a major corporation. In 2018, Olga stumbled upon a website, devoted to animal realism in art. She was mesmerized, and took a short online course, the only formal art education she ever received. Today Olga continues her journey as a self-taught artist, working on her portfolio of unique pastel drawings.bring home and nurture. For your sound art entertainment.
Peggy Silvestri, a current resident of Dania, FL, is originally from Niagara Falls, NY, and has been playing acoustic rock/folk for about 15 years now as a solo performer...Peggy has also been involved in many other musical groups in the Western New York area, including Everyday People in Canada, in the early 80s; NorthEnd, a CSNY tribute band covering the Beatles and others; Black Crowes tribute band; Steely Dan tribute band; Rumourz, a Fleetwood Mac tribute band, and various other musical projects. A recording opportunity brought her to Florida in 2016, and she decided to stay and make a go of it here. It was a great decision, as she is keeping very busy playing regularly in Ft. Lauderdale. Pompano Beach, Hollywood, Coral Springs and surrounding areas, as well as back in Western New York when she is visiting.

ALISON C EAGER

"I spent my childhood roller skating and dancing, competing in both sports at a national level for many years. I learned to develop a good attitude and hard work ethic. As a natural performer, I enjoyed practicing, rehearsing, and improving... and of course, the costumes, hair, and makeup!  At the age of twelve, I took a brief summer art camp at master artist Peter Olsen’s art studio. I continued going weekly until I left for college. Peter always said, “Be original, imaginative, and creative!” This pushed me as an artist, and it still does today.

My college years exposed me to poetry, spoken word, sculpture, photography, and film, as well as freestyle, African and “break dancing" techniques. I threw myself into all these experiences either formally in school or through experiences with friends in local venues. I then studied fashion design while living in New York. My graduate studies focused formally on printmaking, and of course, Art Education. Now in my artistic career, I confidently call myself a multi- disciplinary artist. I absolutely love all art forms, and create magic and power by merging them.

I am a vibrant, passionate, and progressive artist. I have always been a keen observer of my surroundings and people. I love being the creator of art, as well as the viewer and audience of art, and I too enjoy being the art itself. All of Earth’s majesty, its infinite palette of color, its terrain, and its incredible creatures inspire me, along with people who push the boundaries of human potential and artists who are unapologetically themselves. My intention is that my artistry inspires you to tap into your unapologetic artist... What will you create?"

And the last exciting addition to our June 8th Art in the Hall event ?

Mazzara: Christopher James Mazzara is a poet who has performed for the last 7 years. His performances tend to be very edgy, speaking on controversial topics but powerful when embraced. Ultimately his performances are from the heart and fueled by passion

Jazz guitarist, Armando Corsi and other experienced guitarists of Genova "Marcolino" (today successful comedian Genoves) Fabian, returned to Argentina in the early 90s with the idea of continuing to study, music and guitar. Already established in Buenos Aires, he studied at (Sadaic) and obtained a diploma in music writing and reading. Alfredo and Fabian shared many jams and also stages together. Later, Fabián formed a duet with the Argentine singer, Julieta Ruscelli, who had sung in Miami and also in Mexico. With the name of "Fabian and Julieta" the duo appears for several years in hotels, restaurants and festivals playing different styles of music ranging from jazz, pop, Latin and flamenco.
