The City of Dania Beach participates in a number of grant sponsored programs to save water and save money.
Water Conservation Giveaways
Residents of the City of Dania Beach are eligible to change out up to (per household):
Simply stop by the Public Services Department at 1201 Stirling Road with a copy of your water bill and say “Conservation Pays”.
Toilet Rebate Program
- 2 water efficient shower heads
- 2 bathroom aerators
- 1 kitchen aerator
Residents are also eligible for a rebate on WaterSense High Efficiency Toilets, up to $100 each for unit, with a maximum flush of 1.28 GPF (gallons per flush). For this rebate, residents must apply in advance and obtain approval prior to purchasing and installing the toilets. Additional rules apply.

In conjunction with Broward County and the South Florida Water Management District, the City also participates in the Water CHAMP water conservation program. Water CHAMP (Water Conservation Hotel and Motel Program) was created specifically for the lodging industry. The City of Dania Beach boasts over 29 hotels/motels/bed and breakfasts housing over 2,500 rooms—the third largest in Broward County.
The three program components are
1. The towel reuse program,
2. The linen reuse program
3. The installation of high efficiency faucet aerators in all guest bathrooms.
The Public Services Department will be doing outreach in an increased effort to converse water in our community.
